Enjoy Peebles Orchestra's "superb orchestral musicianship" (review, November 2024).

Young virtuoso Pawel Szulc of the City of Edinburgh Music School plays Haydn's piano concerto No. 11. Plus the overture to Weber's opera "Preciosa", a minuet by Mozart which he later used in an alternative version of his 34th Symphony.  We finish with Mendelssohn's rarely performed, powerful Symphony No. 5 "Reformation", written in honour of the 300th anniversary of the Augsburg Confession, a key event in the Reformation.

Led by Robert Dick, this promises to be a stellar concert from Peebles Orchestra.
