Peebles young master musician Michael Gemmell, runner up at Scottish Young Musicians 2023, joins Peebles Orchestra to perform Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 23. An explosion of colour in Handel’s Music for the Royal Fireworks provides a dramatic introduction. The concert concludes with Haydn’s Symphony 99, written in Vienna and likely influenced by Mozart’s works.

 

Led by Robert Dick, Peebles Orchestra brings you an evening of classical favourites featuring one of Peebles’ fastest rising musical stars.
