Ken Dempster will conduct the 2009 autumn programme, which features Rowan Bell as the soloist in Beethoven's Violin Concerto. Rowan joined the Peebles Youth Orchestra when at primary school and progressed to become assistant leader of the Peebles Orchestra. He has now completed his studies at the Royal College of Music in London, and we are delighted to welcome him back as soloist.
